THEME

The theme for the Europe Forum 2011 is: Building Bridges. This means: building bridges between people, between countries, between Lions and Leo’s and between rich and poor.

We came to think of this theme while looking at the many bridges across the river Meuse. These are old and new bridges, modern and classical bridges. These bridges connect the different parts of the city and so enable people to meet each other in a simple way. And these meetings lead to exchange of activities, projects, science etc.

We hope that during the Europe Forum 2011 bridges can be built. That new contacts will be made between people, that there will be an exchange of many activities and that we will get to know each other better through these meetings.
